TERMS & CONDITIONS
GENERAL TERMS
All parts supplied by Engines Australia are sold under these Terms & Conditions. No verbal, implied, or alternative agreements will be recognized unless confirmed in writing. Customers are responsible for ensuring that all parts ordered are suitable for their intended purpose and vehicle model.
WARRANTY POLICY
- Electrical Components: All electrical items come with a 30-day replacement warranty unless stated otherwise in writing. Electrical items are replacement only no refunds are provided.
- Other Parts: All other parts come with a 3-month parts replacement warranty.
- Engines, Transmissions & Components: These items include a 3-month parts-only warranty from the date of purchase, with no exceptions.
All warranties cover parts only. Engines Australia will not be held responsible for any consequential loss, labour charges, towing costs, loss of income, downtime, or damage resulting from part failure.
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
Warranty will be void and no claim will be recognized if the failure has occurred due to any of the following:
- Incorrect or insufficient lubricant, oil, or fuel use
- Overheating, missing tabs, or neglect of cooling system
- Failure to carry out regular servicing or maintenance
- Unauthorized repair, alteration, or dismantling of the part
- Incorrect installation or application
- Accident damage, overloading, or misuse
Engines are sold long bare. Any accessories (such as alternators, starters, sensors, manifolds, etc.) supplied with engines are provided for convenience only and are not covered by warranty. It is strongly recommended that customers transfer all accessories from their original engine.
WARRANTY CLAIMS
In the event of a warranty claim:
- Engines Australia reserves the right to inspect and assess all items before any replacement or credit is issued.
- All claims must be accompanied by the original tax invoice or receipt.
- The company reserves the right to recover any costs incurred in dismantling, inspecting, repairs, freight, or out-of-pocket expenses related to the claim.
- Any dispute will be resolved through an agreed, mutual third party.
RETURNS POLICY
a) No returns after 7 days from the date of invoice.
b) No returns on cut sections or modified items.
c) Special order items or products purchased on request are non-returnable and non-refundable.
d) Items that have been dismantled, altered, or tampered with are void of all return or warranty claims.
e) Returns are only accepted if the item is in the same condition as when it left our premises.
All returns must be pre-approved and accompanied by proof of purchase. Engines Australia reserves the right to refuse any unauthorized return.
FREIGHT & DELIVERY
Interstate and international freight can be arranged on behalf of the customer. Once goods leave our premises or the possession of our drivers, the customer assumes full responsibility for the goods in transit.
- All freight costs, insurance, and related charges are the responsibility of the customer.
- Returns must be freight pre-paid, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Engines Australia reserves the right to select the freight carrier and determine applicable charges.
PANELS & BODY PARTS
Panels and body parts are sold as inspected. The customer is responsible for confirming the correct make, model, and color before purchase.
- No color match guarantee is provided.
- Returns due to incorrect color or mismatch are at the buyer’s expense.
- Panels and interior parts must be returned in the same condition and within the 7-day return period.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
By installing our products, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
a) You release Engines Australia from any labour, towing, or associated costs arising from part failure.
b) You agree to our 7-day return policy from the date stated on the invoice.
c) To maintain warranty validity, you must:
- Flush the radiator and cooling system (receipts must be provided upon any claim)
- Replace all belts, hoses, filters, spark plugs, and radiator caps
- Service diesel injectors, injector pumps, and replace the fuel filter where applicable
- Ensure correct installation and diagnosis prior to part replacement
Incorrect diagnosis of vehicle faults, particularly for electrical components, will result in no refund and no return eligibility.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Engines Australia’s liability is strictly limited to the replacement of the defective part under warranty. The company is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages caused by the use or failure of supplied products.

By purchasing from Engines Australia, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all Terms & Conditions listed above.
